Dr Jennifer Ludwig
MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, DCH, Cert SRH
Dr Ludwig is a local GP with a strong focus on Women’s Health, including antenatal and postnatal care. She established Urodynamics Services (UDS) to address a gap in care within the Wide Bay region.
Her additional interests include Geriatrics, Sexual Health, Paediatrics, Mental Health, Travel Medicine, and Lifestyle-based management of chronic disease.
Dr Ludwig is committed to providing compassionate, holistic care tailored to each stage of life.
About Dr Ludwig

Dr Ludwig graduated from James Cook University in 2008 and began her medical career at Townsville University Hospital, gaining broad experience in general medicine.
Inspired by her father, respected obstetrician Dr Dirk Ludwig, she developed a strong interest in women’s health and completed the Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2010. In 2011, she furthered her training in paediatrics while working at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Brisbane, completing the Diploma of Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital.
As part of her General Practice training, Dr Ludwig also completed the Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health through Family Planning Australia.
Dr Ludwig enjoys the variety and continuity of care that General Practice offers. She takes a compassionate, patient-centered approach, working collaboratively to help her patients achieve their best possible health.
She has a particular interest in preventive health and lifestyle medicine, and is passionate about supporting patients to make positive changes that can help prevent or better manage chronic conditions.
